Alan Bradstock, Democratic candidate for PA's 14th Congressional District, held a Community Town Hall on Monday, September 14 at American Legion Post 400 (205 E George St, Carmichaels).

Thanks to everyone who came out to ask questions, share their concerns, and hear directly from a candidate for Congress about the issues facing Western Pennsylvania.

Lois Bower-Bjornson, Democratic candidate for PA House of Representatives' 50th District, hosted a Meet and Greet with special guest DNC Vice Chair Malcolm Kenyatta on Saturday, September 12 at Victoria Square (95 E High St, Waynesburg).

The Greene County Democratic Committee held its Quarterly Committee Meeting on Wednesday, September 9 at RGB Coffee (30 N Washington St, Waynesburg).

The meeting featured two guest speakers:

• National Popular Vote presentation
• Voter Protection presentation

Members of the Greene County Democratic Committee turned out for the First Annual RGB Block Party on Sunday, August 30, wearing candidate t-shirts and handing out buttons and campaign signs.

Between cups of coffee and snacks from the vendors, there was plenty to enjoy: the block was full of families taking part in games, plus jump-rope and hula hoop competitions.

Greene County Democratic Committee had a booth at the Greene County Fair (Fairgrounds, 107 Fairgrounds Rd, Waynesburg), up and running August 10–15, from 4:30–8:00 PM each evening. Volunteers handed out voter registration forms and campaign flyers for our 2026 candidates and met with committee volunteers and neighbors throughout the week.

On Wednesday, August 12, volunteers were back at it scooping ice cream at the booth, always a fan favorite.

Greene County Democratic Committee had a booth at this year's Rain Day Festival in downtown Waynesburg (Fountain & Monument Parks) on Wednesday, July 29. Volunteers handed out voter registration forms and campaign flyers for our 2026 candidates, and caught up with neighbors from across the county.

Rain Day is one of Greene County's biggest community traditions: 2026 marked Waynesburg's 153rd Rain Day, the legendary bet on whether it will rain by a set time downtown. The festival ran all day with live entertainment on two stages, vendors, food, kids' activities, and contests.

Greene County Democratic Committee had a booth at the 161st annual Jacktown Fair in Wind Ridge all week, handing out voter registration forms and campaign information and catching up with neighbors from across the county.

Alan Bradstock and Lois Bower-Bjornson both took part in the fair's opening day parade, riding together and waving to the crowd along the route.

On the evening of Thursday, April 16, 2026, members, friends, and supporters of the Greene County Democratic Committee gathered at Valley View Farm in Waynesburg for our annual Spring Celebration. Over a buffet dinner and good conversation, we came together to celebrate our community, reconnect with old friends, and welcome new faces to the cause.

Events like this are the heart of an all-volunteer organization. The funds raised support our ongoing work across Greene County, and the turnout was a reminder of how much energy and goodwill there is for Democratic values in our community.

Thank you to everyone who attended, to the volunteers who made the evening run smoothly, and to Valley View Farm for hosting us. We're already looking forward to seeing you at the next one!

The 2025 election was a resounding success for democracy and judicial independence in Pennsylvania. Thanks to the hard work of volunteers, engaged voters, and community members across Greene County and the Commonwealth, all seven Democratic judicial candidates won by substantial margins.

The Results:

Five judges retained:

• Justice Christine Donohue
• Justice Kevin Dougherty
• Justice David Wecht
• Judge Alice Beck Dubow
• Judge Michael H. Wojcik

Two new judges elected:

• Judge Brandon Neuman
• Judge Stella Tsai

This victory preserves an independent, fair-minded judiciary that respects the rule of law, protects individual rights, and serves all Pennsylvanians with integrity. It demonstrates what we can accomplish when citizens engage with the democratic process and stand up for the values that matter.
